Sorry, but if you cant tell an authentic vert from another you shouldnt call yourself an N12 enthusiast. Bottom line.
I understand that some were done in aussie for some reason but really, they are not the real deal.

this one has single piece side windows, and no c pillar/roll over bar just from looking at it, two of the easiest ways to tell.
probably doesnt have power steering or electric mirrors either, thats another easy way to tell if it is a genuine nx convertible.........
not ragin out btw mate, just helping clear thing up

I'm not sure that's the word I'd use for myself, but I believe it's accurate enough despite my lack of knowledge about a limited-run special model. I have intimate knowledge of my N12.photoglossy wrote:Sorry, but if you cant tell an authentic vert from another you shouldnt call yourself an N12 enthusiast. Bottom line.
Comprehensive knowledge of such arcana is the reserve of folks who are beyond enthusiastic. I like N12s for a lot of reasons, but the convertible Exa isn't one of them.
geez mate, removing the rollover bar from a genuine vert is suicide. not only is it a crucial part of thr structural rigidity of the vehicle, it also serves as a sealing point for the rubber seals to protect from the elements.
i still wonder though with the single piece side windows.
genuine covertibles also didnt come turbo (not to say it wasnt converted)
they also only came in red (yours may have had a respray, but it should still be red up under the dash on the firewall)
if you could put up more pics of the engine bay, rear seat area of interior, and vin number.
cheers mate
