**** UPDATE ****

So got the Prarire to the workshop to finish off all the bits

Its been a good day.

Got the Prairie on the hoist, so I could weld the bracket for the hand brake.
So I have a working hand brake for the first time in 6 months,
I cant tell you how much of a pain it was not having one.

Got the new MC in
Image

This by itself has been the most expensive part of the build, this baby cost me $500,
and as I was quoted $350 for a reco (apparently this is some sort of none standard one)
I thought..... Screw it...... for $150 more get the new original Nissan one.
and It was the only one the parts people could find.... and it came from Tamworth over night.
And in less than an hour it was in and the brake bleed right through...
Damn a hoist makes things so easy...
So I have brakes again.......
:D

Next.... Monday... Getting the thing running right
We had a quick look using the timing gun and could see it was out.... But thats for Monday

So I got the Prairie back from the mechanic.
But after all this time..... She is running the same ***CRAP***
He serviced it, changed the brake booster...
But he could not work out what was wrong.
Just out of his experience to work out the problem.
So its siting in the front yard.

I dont know what I'll end up doing...............

new aftermarket ecu.

Buy a bomb until you have it fixed if you need another car.

You have put allot of money into this, hate to see this stop you.

It's time

Post by Valentich »

It's time...sob...sniff... for her to move on
This decision has ripped me inside,
but the truth is that since I moved she has been sitting outside waiting for me to finish her.....
I want to see her go to someone that will love her and give her the time she deserves.......
Now dont ask me how much... I dont know, that deserves a conversation with anyone interested.
All the stars and the signs would have to align.... but I am open to selling her...
but as a bonus, I am happy to help and continue working on her for any one local.
