Hey Guys - Time for an update.
Had some spare hours so thought I'd take on the hardest part of
Project Emo Interior!!!
So far I'd put in the black Exa seats, black carpet and a few black plastics, and now:
-The Dash .....
I also took the chance to move the E-Boost & mount the EMS, add my A/F Gauge (although not hooked up yet) and add my digital Tacho. The digital tacho has a rather cool blue shift light that's nice and discreet, until it goes off in your face.
I still have to clean up in there yet....

You didn't like the look of the cream/tan interior?

Why the change?

Cheers

Yup, when I come up for the cruise I'll be picking up black plastics, trims and hood lining!

I was waiting for someone to pick it! One part I had to rape from the Exa.

I'll see what I can do. I'll video it when it gets dyno'd!

I was gonna put the turbo one in but the plugs are different and my gas soldering iron was out of gas from all the wiring I fixed that was behind the dash.

LoL you have to take into consideration that I'm one of the older fuckers on here and this way I can see what time it is without needing my grampa specs!

Actually, I did measure up but nothing was the right size ... either too big or small. And I didn't want to be a wank and have 2 tacho's (I already have the digital one) Then I thought about a completely rebuilt dash with a big Autometer speedo and a small fuel, oil n water temp, & oil n fuel pressure gauges around it. It'll happen, just not yet.

Had some spare hours tonight .... well actually I didn't I just can't sleep. So much to my neighbors disgust I went out to the shed and turned this peice of rubbish that got ripped from the belly of my VW on the way up a mountain once:
Heatshield.jpg~original.jpg
Into this:
Heatsheild2.jpg~original.jpg
Image

And painted the cooler pipe while it was off. I painted it yellow so I wouldn't trip over it if I were walking on my engine ......
All I gotta do now is paint those damn cam covers.
