Yeah my car is the same. Would be good if I could get my hands on a set of 185/70/14's for the track.... anyone want to lend me some?

No doubt there will be a few others that turn up on the day, mainly exa's. Last time there was about 8 exa's and I was the only ET. I'm glad a couple ET's are coming this time :D

Hey Uschi, I reckon my Toyo Proxes T1R's would be the ticket. They are sooo sticky you'd need to practice with them. Wouldn't be keen on ya doin' any burnouts though.

Thanks for the offer Paul. I was just looking for some cheapo's, I don't want to go hurting your good tyres lol.

Probably just run on the tyres I've got, it gives me the shits having to change into 4th and crossing the line at a lame rpm though.

Might go make an attempt to better my starts this weekend, see if i can sus out how Sam launches his exa.

Paul, are you taking your video camera out to willowbank or just to macca's?

Just read that skylinesaustralia.com is also having a meet at Willowbank on the 17th, with about 15 or more cars attending... whether they all race or not though.. who knows.

Also there's going to be a heap of big v8's practicing for the Tin Top Titles. So it's going to be a pretty busy night.

Should be able to squeeze a fair runs in early before it gets busy, so I'll be leaving Goodna Maccas at 3:15 sharp!

I'm pretty keen to get out there again. I went last Saturday but only as a spectator... was a pretty mad night with some blooody fast cars and rails. Should have had a race, but I couldn't have been bothered wearing long pants and sleeves on such a stinker of a day lol.

It varies week to week, last week I think they had around 250 cars registered.

If we get there early and beat the line up, you can usually squeeze about 3-4 runs in before it gets busy. Then after that you have to wait roughly 45 minutes in the staging lanes.

If it gets too busy I'll probs end up retreating to the grandstand and take some photo's.

Should be a good night. I've got a few mates cars coming along aswell, though not n12's.

well i'll most proberly be there :D mite even take my N12 down the 1/4
see how i go. i've got a N12 we useing for parts. has my old 15's on it, so i might take 2 of them off and whack them on the front, so i dont fuck the rubber on my tyres :D

would a moto x helmet be ok to use to race with? its practically brand new. has the safety sticker on it.

the misses is bringing the digital camera and video camera. so i make sure she snaps a few pic's and gets some footage of some 1/4 runs 8)

Just as long as the helmet has the silver Australian Standards sticker on it you'll be fine.

Just a reminder that you also need a long sleeve shirt, long pants & covered shoes.. take a pen aswell.

Should be a good day, I'm looking forward to it. The more digi and video camera's the better... should get some good footage between us all.
