Same engine parts on E10S and E15ET?

Hey guys,
i have to throw away my E10S-engine coming from a donor car (Cherry).
I don't have the time to investigate too much into detail, so maybe you have some ideas:
Which parts can be used on the E15ET-engine and should be saved?
Cheers,
Martin

Do you mean E15s?
If so you can use the head, block, alternator.
Most things like the manifolds, dizzy, FPR etc are unusable as they differ to the turbo version.

If you want to use the block you will need to tap an oil line for the turbo, same as if you have a watercooled turbo, you will need to T in some water lines.

The head can be used, it has a slightly different comp. ratio (SFA), and there is supposedly a noticeable difference in mid-high rpm due to the different sizes in the ports etc. This is of course, if it is an 11m head. Check if it is 11m (NA) or 15M (ET). If it's a 15M head then its a turbo head. There should be markings either on the dizzy side, the exhaust side near the timing cover, or both.

Hey, thanks for your answer.
No, E10S - it was a 1.0 liter Cherry.

I wished i hadn't trown away all the E15S parts in the past :-(
Back then i didn't know how much could be used on the E15ET also...
cheers

Oh I see -- I did a quick google, hard to find info on that specific engine.
I would be looking at the head, and block to see if there are much differences between the two.

I have not seen much besides the E15s/E15ET engines so I cannot comment on what is exchangeable, but at a guess I would say probably nothing. If it was the same 1.5L cyl then more stuff could be used. So ignore what I said above until someone else comments or you do a visual inspection yourself.
