You have had this happen with stock bottom ends? Why? And what have you modified to 'fix' the problem?
The only reason you will/could damage a bearing is through poor maintenance or giving the engine a hard rev from dead cold!

Well mechanic of the day award goes to my wife for suggesting I look at things other than engine components.
She used to have a Milano the same a few years back and said he exhaust bracket used to rattle.
So under I went and low and behold it was a heat shield for the exhaust. :/
