hey guys i was wondering how much the standard ET ECU can handle in mods before tune is needed without going to aftermarket ECU ??
Upgrade turbo ?
Exhaust ?
Fuel Reg?
AFM relocate with filter?
cooler ??
what about injectors and fuel pump ?

as far as i know the ECU can handle all of the above dude, i did all of the above to my car accept for the injectors cause lets face it if you run bigger injectors u need to be able to set the cycle time and duration and this you cant do with the standard ECU but the rest it copes with nicely.
thats the best thing about these little nissans you can do so much to them before you realy have to go the aftermarket ECU rout.

All those mods will achieve little unless the stock boost pressure is raised.
Dont ever forget, the stock ECU and AFM is very agricultural and only has any effect at low to medium throttle opening.
The ECU cannot detect increased boost.
It seems most guys get away with increases up to 12 psi on the stock injectors with a good cooler.
Your playing Russian Roulette boosting above that with such a primitive ECU.
