Vehicle Speed Sensor

Morning All,

Does anyone know how this works?
I've checked the FSM and no detail of how it actually works and if it gives an increased voltage or if it's just a switch that closes as the vehivle moves.

Any thoughts?

So will this give a varying voltage as speed increases?

you will get a on-off signal with a frequency corresponding to the speed
