I'm getting to the final stages of my build and getting ready to start wiring in my computer. What I'm wondering for those of you with aftermarket computers is what are you using to control idle.
I notice some people have the thermal idle valve but is there a compensation for accessories being used. The computer manual says to use a idle speed control solonoid so I want to know can I use the existing gear on the RRC intake or should I get another solonoid to do this. How does this work with the thermal idle valve or do I need this. What do the two seperate accessories on the intake manifold that would have been on the log do and how do they work?
I think I shoud only need one to do both jobs really?
