Microtech peoples

Post by Damo »

Need a little advice regarding Glens LT-10 (I think), we are having problems with a possible leaning out issue under boost. We have checked the most obvious things regarding fuel so far, eg

The injectors are stocko 250-270cc jobs (checked)
The fuel pump flows 1.2ltrs @ 50psi fuel pressure (checked)
And the stock reg is holding base pressure @ 36psi above manifold pressure from zero to -20inch/hg (checked)

I have resigned to the fact that it may be my short commings regarding the Microleb.
On the load screens, I am setting at over 12ms injector openings which is as far as the microtech will show the map reading to. It actually allows to around 14ms which i have hit, and still the O2 shows less than 13:1. All this on stock boost! 7psi at less than 5000rpm!

So the question is, is the m/s reading for each engine rotation, or for each inuction cycle? Because @ 6000rpm you should have 20m/s for 100% D/C, and it doesn't make sense to have 12ms (14ms) as the max you can map to!!
If the m/s is for induction cycle, there must be a way to extend the scale of the map calibration.
