they look pretty close to the standard crimp connectors I have....special tools help, but are essential. But if you're going to do a bit of wire work they would be worth buying. IN Aus somewhere like Jaycar or Radioparts should have them, if not try rscomponents or farnell (both worldwide!)

If you can just make it so it grabs the pin a bit harder, that should do it no worries I reckon.

pretty sure you can get the pins from dicksmith along with a tool to push them out without damaging them, i got one the other day an it was 2$ for the tool, an about 6$ for a pack of pins.

My bad M8, I didnt make myself clear.
What i mean is that there are no known replacement plugs avaiable.

Youll have to make do with what you have, try and extract the pins and tighten them by hand one at a time. Ive never beean able to do this but it must be able to be done with the correct tool.

Or replace the plugs with individual plugs/flyleads available from any computer supplies joint.

However, you cant just use the multiple "gangs" of plugs and leads as the spacing of the Nissan plugs is quite different to the computer plug pin spacing... sry, way it goes.

So cut and shut a heap of those little plugs onto your loom and hope to hell you get the pins plugged back in in the right order lmao!!!!!

I have had a good brain storm if I can't find these plugs.

I'm aiming to track down some different sockets and I am going to desolder the sockets from the ecu and replace them with a common 16 pin socket and a 20 pin socket.
then replace my wiring loom plugs with the same type of plug these sockets take.

because looking at the back of the plug the pogo pins that are soldered in that pcb(green board) are spaced out just right in my opinion.
that will solve this hole issue once and for all, I think.

If anyone else wants to try this too you need.
a solder vacuum pump, a clean free flux pen, soldering iron, soldering braid(clean up job recommended), these new plugs & sockets 16/2 pin, 20/2 pin.

I dunno why anyone hasn't thought of it sooner.

also anyone know any ecu that has similar style and number of pins we could use that actually make after market plugs.
we could buy up some faulty ecu's and use there sockets in our ecu's then buy the aftermarket plugs.

if mine turns out successful I may consider doing this for people who have no soldering experience.

Hope you all catch my drift here. post photos tomorrow tonight if someones not following.

here is what I have come up with in my search for the jack/sockets.

just gotta work out dimensions to see if any of these fit.

peace

I have, but never bothered to check the pin spacing for compatibility since I don't have this problem, AFAIK.

I was think computer mobo power connector style, just like you posted.

Frikken tedious job, though... I'd try a spray of CRC first.

my connector plugs are completely beyond repair.

Ordered them ebay ones, but the spacing is different on the pcb board lol.

So my new plan is to have a plug manufactured after a redesign in auto cad.

would many people be interested in this if I was to go out and get it done?

also to get them pins out of the original plug I used a safety Pin with a hook on cripple sorta end. worked like a charm just gotta be gentle with it like picking a lock.

I'm in the process of talking to a guy sale rep in china that makes connectors. so we could possible have after-market plugs. not sure on pricing yet. hopefully its cheap to make. the tooling in the most expensive part the guy said.

if anyone could help measure plugs I would be grateful, as I don't have anything to do it thats precise.
