i actually just got a call from my exhaust mate, he said he found some more space with the radiator, and that he reckons the car should be ready by this weekend.

ill let you all know what happens

ha ha i know, 3 years but hey i needed to know

my log isnt plugged up though. when i bought the car, the intercooler piping runs through the log, like its been made part of it, and then it comes around and goes into the throttle body,

should i still connect all the breather and stuff up?

ha ha yeah i read up on radiators on the forums, "ally is 30% less efficient than a similar sized copper" haha its a low mount and from memory the turbo is about maybe 10mm from the core. there could be more room to be had moving the radiator but it just seems it physically wont slide forw...

hey ash, i know this post is from ages ago, but just on the subject of the breather i notice your hose has a T-piece in it, and one goes into the pipe before the turb, where does the other go? cos i remember looking at mine and noticing it has no pipe on it at all, like the breather is just.....open...

yeah thats the thing, ive already got the front mount AND A/C, so any movement causes a huge chain of problems. ive done some reading and now im waiting for E to tell me not to replace the original radiator, because is a kick ass triple cored beast. i am taking that advice, but this just means i hav...

hey guys the car is almost finished with the turbo upgrade etc, just getting dump pipe and a few extra pipes made up at my mates exhaust shop, now he reckons that the turbo is way too close to the radiator, and if my engine moves too much under load, its gonna smash into the radiator......which is b...

nah dont need help, just the dump pipe needs to be made and my exhaust guy is heaps busy atm so its taking a while, and he thinks that the turbo is gonna smash the radiator is my engine moves too much under load

deffinately gonna check this out, shouldnt be too hard to hook it all up,

it owuld be like that DIY boot controller set up that is in the technical part of this site, just its factory made, cool cool.

that sounds like a great idea i wonder how much it would be from a wreckers? probly alot less than an aftermarket 2 stage electronic controller
