I'll second everything that E has said, except for retaining the stock reg. The 'Rate' of the reg is determind by the size of the diafram, so unless a reg has 2 diaframs the boost increase rate will be the same as the vac decrease rate. A 2:1 reg is 2:1 both ways. The only way to add fuel with the s...

Have any of you guys had problems with valve to piston contact, or are even aware of what your exhaust valve to piston clearence is? I was having dramas with this before my bigger cam even went in. Anyway, you can turn the stocko cam sproket into a 3 postition variable job to allow "closer to&q...

I'd be inclined to set your valve clearence correctly first then re-check your compression. If you have too little clearence you may be loosing some of your intake charge back past the inlet valve or out past your exhaust valve.

Appart from that, the leak down will be the goods.

They are an old design thing which although has a larger body than T25/28 don't actualy flow any better than them.

The crunching gears will be due to the clutch cable (aw well as everything else) expanding with the heat giving you less actual pull on the plate.

Give the cable 4 or 5 more turns to tighten it up and have it fully engage at around 1/4 peddel.

Because its a DODGY method that has in the past resulted in the starter motor contacting the ring gear while the engine is running.... big problems!! dont do it. Sam Dodgy hey, dodgy like sticking a RRFPR on a stock ecu E15, dodgy like grinding the trailing arms to fit those wanky 17inch rims, or d...

Hey E

Why hasn't anyone mentioned drilling out the mounting holes on the starter itself. Oversize them a couple of mm, push the starter toward the block and hey presto, no more grinding. At no cost!

I have a feeling that you wont be able to get them under the guards. I have a set of 22/8's on 13inch rims and they arn't that pressed for room because of the offset of the rims. But adding another 50mm for tyre wall might come very close unless you are running standard ride height and decent offset...
