I also have a air hose outlet on the back of the jap spec - dunno where it is suppose to go and you guys haven't mentioned it .. its right at the top on the plenum bit about 2 inches back from the throttle body facing the firewall .. anyone else got this line ??? There's two there from memory. One ...

agecage, That idle air compensator cannot work the way ou have it hooked up. It takes air from the plenum and feeds it back into the plenum??? There's no point ot having it. That hose should connect somewhere between the turbo outlet and throttle body. It'll get air into the plenum via the idle air ...

I think what your seeing is called "hunting".

Its caused when your computer is hunting for the right idle.

he root cause may be your TPS on your throttle body.

Is that connected and working?

When I still had the air flow meter connected (now MT8), mine would do the same stalling bullshit when the oil cap on the rocker cover was off and sometimes if I'd disconnect the breather hoses.

Check those.

Connect the other one somewhere in the piping between the turbo and throttle body.
