It could possibly be the sump gasket, Just had the car up on ramps and the rear main seal is leaking a tiny bit we think, Could also the front main seal..If you look at the bottom of the sump there are bubbles of oil that are ready to drop off the sump if you get what i mean..its only 1 or 2 leaks

frm what i now the rear main seal is behing the flywheel but i had the same problem and found out it was the rubber seal that is in the same area but holds the oil in for the sump there is two one on eter ebd of the sump hang i will go and get a pic in a sec its cold out side lol

u tried to ajust it a bit. The rear main seal is a must i think why ya got the box out and the clutch i think if its no the cable then the things on its last legs cheers leayr

Glad it's not me doing the job, yeah well i get my clutch replaced in 2 weeks and if it's still spongy then ill replace the clutch cable :D ..The flywheel will be getting machined so the rear main seal wont be a problem

yeah easy to replace rear main seal. carefully pry it out without scratching anything and use a bit of soft wood to tap it gently into place. it's a big mofo. you will have to remove the flywheel first of course.
