Checked that, definately not. The play is between the 2 boots
Can anyone confirm with me, their Drivers side CV doesn't have that much play?
Cheers

Knocking noise from CV??
Hi all. I have a knock when I brake or accelerate on the drivers side. I've checked all engine mounts and stabiliser and steering clamps. I recently replaced my from struts as well. The last thing I checked was the CV. I noticed Thees a fair bit of play side to side as you can see in this video. Is ...

Indicators don't flash anymore?
Hi guys,
For some reason my indicators no longer flash. They stay permanently on when I indicate. Same with hazard. They don't flash??? I quickly checked to see if there were any blown bulbs but all look ok. Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks

Can I remove bottom front windscreen rubber strip easily?
Hi guys want to know of this can be easily done without ruining the rubber strip. Need to remove it to get to the panel where my wipers are to remove sum rust. Can I just pull it out and put it back in place with silicone afterwards?

Yeah which comes back to my original issue of high idle :). I think my only way getting round this issue is move the afm between air filter and turbo. Then plumb the rocker cover breather hose after the afm and before the turbo. Just hope I haven't blown the sump or rocker cover gaskets!!! Cheers gu...

Sorry for the dodgy youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtOPJPxlA7Y Hope it makes sense. So my question is, can I stick a second PCV valve between the Rocker cover (drivers side) and the intake into the throttle body. This is what I'm hoping will stop the boost pressure forcing oil out of ...

Thanks Damo. I sorted the issue thinking about the comments I've read about the AFM relocation. The breather hose from the Rocker cover had not been tapped in after the the AFM relocation. It was still before the turbo and AFM! This has now lead to a very bad mistake on my part. The breather ...

High idle after installing idle control valve!!
Hi guys, well I managed to track down an idle control valve after getting jack of no cold idle. I cut down the log and sealed both ends with plumbing caps, the air regulator and ICV are installed. All original electrical connections reconnected to air regulator and ICV. The plumb back hose, back to ...

Low fuel light does not work
Hey guys just realized the other day my low fuel light does not come on. I ran out of petrol the other day cursing. The gauge appears to be ok but no fuel light. Any ideas where to start to find the problem. Possibly a blown bulb or a switch some where in the fuel tank?? Appreciate any advice. Cheers

Can anyone tell me the part number for our fuel filter. Repco have given me one for the stock n12 and can't find the correct one for the e15et. Oil filter is z145a.
