Sooty/dirty spark plugs, maybe even a broken spark plug u know.. maybe even fuel filter but probally not and wouldn't cause really that problem... I wouldn't be driving it though, get the problem diagnosed incase u do damage..

I'll just add this in, If u get like a big magnet, something strong enough to go through the sump and then some. put it under the sump and slide it to the drain hole, that helps get most of the metal shards sitting at the bottom of the engine.. Or just take off your sump and clean it every time u oi...

don't get em machined, they get very weak under heat and high power set ups.. they can shatter ect and cause damage plus very dangerous..wouldn't want to hurt other people on the road now or damage another nice car beside or behind you..
