Its a brace that ties into the back of the block, extends below the sump and attaches itself to the bottom of the gearbox case. It would help even out twisting forces.

2 out of 3 engines i had didnt' have one. So don't stress.

I was told you could also use a welding torch (oxy) to get it hot enough, such that it pops off.

I had a similar problem on my spare et. I bought the car in SA and it was running all well up until 1/4 of the trip back to melb. 3/4 remaining of the entire trip was running on 1-3 psi if that. Boost only came back on again after i was a few km's away from home. I believe it was just a dodgy turbo....

I think Nitrous will be more viable then. I will look into it.

I did a search for any discussion regarding twin turbos being set up on n12's but came up with nothing.

Is a sequential set up possible from a 1.5 litre to spool the cute t2 for the low end ....and have a t28 take ova? Can it be done....and would it be any good?

The great ocean road can be put aside if that's too big for others, since there's so far Etone, Blue(RED) et, and myself interested so far. Instead we can just do a casual meet somewhere in melb. THe great ocean road drive will happen middle may.
