coming together quite nicely mate, good stuff!
Engines been back in for about a week now, It's off to get tuned on the 11th of this month then entering the drift prac on the 27th so will have pictures up from the event..Have received the highmount manifold but will be getting the car tuned then the manifold fitted later down the track, Should pull a little over the 200kw mark on 16psi..Will upload pictures next week when it's been tuned, Hopefully it has some half decent Nm..

you seem to have a bit of bad luck mate.
That T66 is gonna create the laggest 250kw and you will hate it, played with a lot of sr's before and done a lot of different combo's, found the best turbo for it is a gtx3071 .63 rear.
nice and responsive and if you lean on them a lil you'll get 300kw.
considering its a street car not a drag car i think you should sum up your options.
how i see it is if your gonna strip down your motor and spend all this money on it why fuck it buy make it drive like shit..........
sometimes the cheap option costs you more in the end

Totally agree ^^ ..I've sold the T66 & gone back to a HKS GT-SS as they are responsive as fark. Will post pic/vid of my 180 on the dyno as it gets tuned in a few hours

So an update as of what happened on the dyno 2 weeks ago, Everything was sweet until the tune, The car made little power, 175.5kw..Ofcourse this wasn't right at all, Long story short, The exhaust cam was 1 tooth out & the external gate was leaking & also my turbo shat it...So timing was fixed, gasket replaced & a new turbo was fitted, I didn't buy another HKS GT-SS as they aren't cheap so I went with a T28 from an s15 (was a friends) had done 110,xxxkms when it was taken off, So anyways the car got tuned today & it made 201kw with 400Nm of torque, Which on a t28 is quite good seeing as their a stock turbo on the later model SR's..So everything is all hunky dori at this present time..Drift prac is in 2 days (this saturday) so we will see what i break or what body damage i get the car into..I also looked at a daily car as I'm not wanting the 180 was my daily anymore, The new daily will be an Ae82 corolla with a 4efte conversion, Will post pics soon eh
