Thats a nice bit of preparation

However, you need to detail how you have plumbed those idle valves and rocker cover breathers up.

Id be suggesting that (Plumbing) thats your drama.

yeah, changed everything out on an exa into it, been going at it a few years but i only have the doors to paint, so i can finally see light at the end of the tunnel. Oh and the surging issue was the set of injectors that i thought were standard wernt and it was getting to much fuel.
cheers paul

Well its finally done! yay, done just a bit over 1000klms and everything is running pretty good...surging drama was due to the wrong injectors(too big). The only real drama im having is eveytime there's a bit of moisture in the air the afm plays up(prolly cause the lid isn't glued on...must do that) so heres some pic of it done...

I'll have to get some more pics of it, thought i had more.

Very neat looking engine bay, good work.

Out of curiousity, why'd you mount the cooler 'upside down' with the piping running to the top, and not straight across the bottom?

i was also about to ask, why have you mounted the cooler like that lol

Same cooler was what was on my exa, 280x300x76?

lol i couldn't get the bends tight enough, neat enough and have the pipes under the car real close to the radiator support so i flipped it...looks a bit dumb now you's point it out... works though i suppose
