head removal

what tool do i need to remove the E15ET head?
bolt looks odd, dont know what it's called.

They're just twelve-pointed nuts, the same shape as a ring spanner, aren't they?
An ordinary 12-point socket should do it, I'd say

You can remove it with a standard hex socket no worries. Did one just the other week. Just when you are tourqing in back down its probably best to use a 12 point

Hi
When reassembling torque it down as per fsm
Then torque it down again after the first warm up
Again after a couple days
Again after the first week
Bolts stretch

You really.....seriously reeeeeelly need an e15 engine manual before tackling this job if you want it to go smoothly.
Youll only need one for the carb engine.
If you have to ask what tool is needed to undo the head bolts then you have an issue.
Its not your fault m8, youve not done it before and need to learn to do it the right way...the FIRST time!
Read the section in the manual on r & r'ing the head M8.
I can see you getting into strife with this unless you research it carefully.
Manuals from Repco blah are not that expensive and are worth every penny.
