Ive had the Plates LOWEXA For over 1 1/2 years now.... my car has been standard height all that time and i got laughts at alot :p But today i got a 50+mm drop thanks to compressed springs :)

The car handels alot nicer, not much body roll there anymore.

Anyway.... by now you must know that i like pix, so here is one :)

Hmm... yea... so the car has basically been sitting for a few months now... For no apparent reason i removed both the front and rear bumpers, along with the metal supports... ok way to drop 20 odd kg if your going racing i guess :)

I scored a genuine Nissan wing for it tho...

Time for an post in here id say!

2008 should be they year i get into my exa project! (and the year i get a pay rise, w00t!!!)

I was going to do a drag specific project... but where's the fun in that! Anyone can stomp on an accelerator pedal and go quick. I have decided to build up a quick circuit/targa rally car that i can also use for drags. I wanna be able to do a bit of everything.

I'm imagining a 750kg semi tube/carbon bodied Exa with big power... well, enough to run some low 12's or something on the strip. I know of an engine builder that specialises in Nissans, mainly CA's SR's and RB's (owns the fastest street legal skyline in NZ apparently)... and hopefully he will be keen to work his magic with one of nissans older and less well known engines.

So i thought i'd bump this thread up again in preperation for my build up. Stay tuned :)

sorry to butt in but why even bother with a CA18DET when there's SR20DET's and FJ20ET's? :D

too hard to get a 2.0L legal in an n12.....

why spend twice as much doing up an e15et when u can have a more reliable setup with a ca?

as i said over msn, a heavily modded e15et may sound cool but its way more unreliable than a mildly modded ca18det and way more expensive.

why waste ur time?? may as well go a good engine straiught up..

or if you do wanna go seriously crazy get a SR16VE out of a pulsar vz-r and turbocharge the fucker.
that would be wild! awesomely revvy AND turbo!
