Mounting an airtemp sensor...

Getting an airtemp sensor out of a JE Camira tomorrow so I can start wiring up my LT8. Just one question. Do you have to weld a nut or something into the intercooler pipes to fit it, or is there an easier way?? Just asking because one of my mates has an LS1 and they only have a rubber grommet to hold their sensor in place...

I'm about to do this job myself. I'm going to a nut 'n' bolt place to get the right nut and then weld it on.

yer weld a nut on. rember ls1 dont have boost and wont blow them out.
mount it near the TB
