For a bit of a laugh!

Post by Damo » Thu Aug 08, 2013 9:34 am

To set the record straight, I am a massive believer in science and the way that understanding science allows individuals to contemplate the universe and its origins, but, I am also a believer in God, and that everything in the universe is intentional (Grand Design). Now to me, they are not mutually exclusive and by understanding the 'science' just allows us to understand how things work, it doesn't prove that there is no 'God'. Don't think for one moment though that I am a delusional Christian/Catholic/Muslim who believes stories that were written many hundreds of years ago were somehow meant to be read as scientific text! I'm not stupid! :D
But, I found something the other day that just had me in stitches. No wonder atheists think God fearing people are backward when they come across stuff like this:

The whole site seems to be a parody, but as far as I can tell it is meant to be legit. Bloody 'Christians'.

I know what you mean. In all three major religions, the majority of believers are grossly backward, ignorant, and blind in many respects.

Haha, reminds me of "The Church of Google" website, where they believe (although it's a pardoy) -- that Google is God. Good for a laugh :P - http://www.thechurchofgoogle.org/Script ... s_God.html
