Post by Damo »

Hey guys, just wanted to share a couple of pics of the view form the Wave on Friday night. Had a bbq with the fam and a couple of friends. BTW, did you get your invite Glens? WTF were you! :D

Canon PowerShot SX10 IS :o
I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense.

How the hell did you know that? :)

CIA have a job for you Benny!

The first pic (the panorama) is on my old trusty Kodak special, MD853. I use it only for the panorama pics, it can stitch 3 pics together side by side.

This is Cannon camera. I'm not up to the ability of it yet though.

CIA my butt. He can just read the exif you didn't strip off before posting.

JPEG photos have lots of extra info in them that can easily be read. ONe Journalist once posted a 'raunchy' photo of herself, but it was one where the cropping meant you saw nothing.
What she didn't realise is the jpeg meta data also contains a thumbnail of the original picture, which presented her bits and all.

Warning to young players is to strip the meta or EXIF data from pictures before you post if you don't want anyone in the the world to know things about you - including location if your photos were taken on a device with a GPS (phone etc...)
