Why do I blow Blinker fuse on boost?

Post by dexi_styles »

as it says I have blown 5 fuses all when i am hard on boost!

Now this is the fuse that is linked to the tacho & fuel gauge.

My thought was it was the oil low sensor wire that has been loose, but even when I tucked it away so it doesn't earth out and now it pops when i put it in.

now I'm not too sure if that wire is linked to this fuse, not is there anything else I should look at?

Please ask me and tell me anything you can help out

Cheers,
Dexi

Have a look inside your steering columb for a worn through wire which may be earthing to the steering shaft itself.
My car used to do the classic Phase 3 Falcon thing by having the windscreen wipers come on on hard launches and lower gear changes. In the Falcon it used to happen by twisting up the chasis and causing strange forces to act on things, where in mine it was more likely from the vibration, steering angle, and the fact that I have an oil pressure gauge mounted there.
It may even be in the bay where the engine is moving around and rubbed through a wire.
Something to look for anyway.
