Just wanting to get a bit of list of what guys could purchase if they have a spare hunge in need of spending on their rides.
I bought a 900cca battery pack starter which comes with a work light, compressor with gauge, usb charger, 12v dc supply, from Supershit about 9mths ago for $90, and I have already got my money back in its usefulness. Recommended purchase for anyone who drives their car intermittently and is sick of jumper leads and carrying around a spare battery!

usefulness? flexible magnetic pickup tool with led, can be had for less than a hungee too

A hammer lighter fluid and some matches? I'm sure we have a few laying around so prob only cost you bout 20. But don't expect fireworks, just one night of warmth. Hehehe just kidding
A cheap 10 dollar set of sockets, the miniature sized ones that have only up to 13mm
Comes in handy with those annoying bolts. Well not so much standard but its helped me undo a few bolts my good set won't reach and they cost 250 and up.
Torque wrench. I'm sure I got mine under 50 and it's a king Chrome one. Always great for people in my position who have to swap their head. I use to borrow my old man's but now I got a mate borrowing mine every now and again.

The best tool i bought for around $100 was a Weller soldering Iron kit. Thought i might use it once or twice, but have used it nearly every month since i bought it, excellent buy.

Super cheap snatch strap.
Think it was $80 or so, I've used it as designed, but also coz it was so cheap I've used it as a tow strap, to pull out stumps, tied a bonnet down etc etc.

Well best 100 dollars would of been best 140 dollars spent.
Is a soldering iron with a hot air station.
Fixed monitors
Fixed TV's
fixed Satelite boxes
fixed Settop Boxes, DVD Players, Amps
I used to just throw this stuff away when it was broken now I go looking for peoples broken stuff to fix it.
so best investment I have made.
The fixes are under 40 dollars usually.

brought a cheapo sub and amp secondhand for $40. Transforms a 2x cardboard speaker setup into a decent sound system.. at least until i got around to putting my good stuff in
