GX Liberty fwd to awd Conversion

Post by amraks »

Thought I would share this.

I have been converting my liberty to awd.

Parts I had to have replace and require.

Sub-frame(Struts, stabilizer bar)
Fuel tank(Tank Straps, Fuel tank wiring Harness)
Rear Diff With CV-Joints
TailShaft
All wheel drive gearbox.

I have my subframe and diff in so far.

Hey thats currently under my carport because its still not painted.

Hopefully once I have everything sorted out, I will paint it and post some pictures.

One thing terrible happened the other night when I had the liberty on car ramps.

I didn't give the liberty and exa much clearance and the tow bar tounge dented the brand new out of the box pulsar bonnet on the exa.

I was hell pissed off about this, so now I have to work out if I should use this bonnet or not I guess the person doing the prep work will tell me.

Waiting on more parts off a mate who is wrecking a ET I need hinges.
