Check this out. It has been on the cards for a while, but this will take the 4 stroke to another level!

Back in the early 90's, I querried my autotech teacher about actuating the valves like injectors, and he replied something about the valves getting too hot and having too much mass to work properly. A number of years later I'm sure I saw a picture of a head with electric coils in place of rockers and springs on a billet V8 head somewhere, maybe a old Street Machine or similar.
F1 would have had something like this on the drawing board from day dot of electronic control without a doubt though, and banned when the benifit was found to be too great over the 'less financed' teams.

Great to see on a road car.

The Bi-VANOS (and VANOS) technology is an interesting invention... hope to see this on more road cars as years go by! :D

in all honesty dude these cars are shit but they have so much character, are fun and go fairly well when running right. we still play around with these things because they are a fun addictive little shitbox! :D - Ash
