I recently bought this. A 2008 model Kawasaki KLR 650.
1100 K's on the clock so its basically brand new.
Had been tipped on its side at Id guess about 10 to 15 Kph and was written off FFS!!!!!
I paid 3500 for it and spent 500 on some parts and this is what I have now.
Its got a near new White Bros (now Vance & Hines) race pipe on it which is sooooooo sweet sounding but its hell loud...only a matter of time to be wheeled over it!!!!!!
Rides beautifully. Torquey motor. Very happy with it as a here and there ride-about.

Got myself a toy recently, brings back many fond memories of being on two wheels. Sorta like a moto, just a lighter, greener , gravity fed version haha.

Na definately didn't buy it new, picked it up for CA$1000, it's a 2005 model frame with 07' forks. First time riding DH so didn't want to spend much and this thing is serving me well so far.

I saw way back in the thread that both you and Glen were into pushies, what bikes have you got?

Yeah thats right Evan, we're hijacking the shit out of this thread and theres nothing you can do about it.. er... besides delete our posts and locking the thread . Anyways motorbikes are soo pre-global warming, these days it's all about pedal power and going green. Get with the times man hahaha.
