Help save Troy Critchley and sign the petition

Post by SiniT »

Hi all ,

Help save Troy Critchley and sign the petition below.
Troy is the Aussie Drag Racer who unfortunately lost control of his car during an exibition burnout.
The finger of blame is now being pointed solely at Troy, which many feel is wrong.

>>SIGN HERE<<<

There was a thing about it on 60 minutes last night, so wrong using him as a scape goat for the people killed, the event organisers should of had barriers up on the street to protect spectators.

Cheers Phil

everyone that comes across this thread should sign the petition! in no way does Troy Critchley deserve jail time let alone life behind bars! he was just helping out a good cause doing what he thought was right and what eventually happens to everyone happened to him. accidents happen.

i don't really like the yanks that much as it is. i think they are the most pigheaded up themselves bunch of tossers as it is but this just confirms it for me! it was clearly an accident and for their part bound to happen with absolutely no barriers or safety what so ever. for them to want to see him in jail for what happened is just plain ridiculous! if the exact same thing happened here i am sure we would all see it for what it was and not try and punish the driver. but then again we would at least have the common sense to make the event safe to begin with!

the 60 Minutes story,

everyone sign the petition and show some support!

i really feel for him. it would be ripping him up inside enough as it is let alone these yanks gunning for his blood!

end rant.

signed.

this is bullshit.
surely the event organisers are liable, that's why they have liability insurance!

he's responsible for damage to his car or intentional property damage, but nothing else.

Thanks Ash , i was trying to find the story ..

Under silly yank laws the driver of the vehicle is the one responsible ...

Signed and link copied and forwarded to everyone I know.
Typical septics, very responsible taking your family trackside with no signs of any safety in place and then suit when something goes wrong. Unfortunately we're following the same path, just 20 years behind. Good on his lawyer, all the best Troy.

of course i signed it, i'm back on page 50 something!

saw his lawyer on tv the other night, he raised a lot of good points why the blame can't be all on troy. after hearing them i'd be very surprised if he does the time. more like he should get compensation for what they're putting him through atm!
I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense.
