Thanks :) Im pretty happy with everything so far. Had a bit of trouble with the dizzy having old springs allowing it advance too soon making it ping a bit but got that sorted out its tuning in real nice and sounding pretty good.

Got the time today to rough out the carb flange for the intake.

So now I just need to do a wee bit of welding to get the intake finished, the head flange I had already done a while back.

Got it mostly welded up now. Yes the welds are ugly as fook all but they dont leak lol. Still have to plumb in the vac line dist box and smooth out the transitions from pipe to plate on the insides. Next lazy day :)

I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense.

Small update. Finally got the car on a dyno with the new engine. Still stock intake with the Webber 32/36. Numbers are at the wheels. Image
