Hey guys,

Has been a while. Great to see the forum still plugging along. Thought I'd pop back in to see what's new in the N12 world - some nice examples being built I see. Hoping to see a new PB in that top 10 list sometime soon though!

For me the 'zed' has moved on. My comment on 'lack of practicality' did finally get to me, combined with a few gearbox issues too... Getting around in an STi these days (yay for 4 doors) which I rate much better then the 'zed' ever was (excl. the wow factor). Still missing the ol' ET at times, although I have not seen any ET on the road for quite some time, which is a little dissapointing.

Speaking of which, has anyone seen or know of the whereabouts of ETN12 these days? It was in Brisbane last time I heard... different rims and looking not quite like what she used too. :-(

Anyways guys, till next time all the best.

Hey Dave, did you consider an Evo? I'm thinking about changes now too, my thoughts were STI, EVO, S3 or if I come into some money a 135i ! ! , Interested in your thoughts.

Callum,

You always consider an EVO - they are pure weapons. From the head-to-head magazine tests of EVO vs STi, it seems the EVO usually has the 'edge'.. But imho, your never going to notice the 'edge' on the street (factory spec speaking). I've always been a Subary boy, so it was never really a choice, but complete respect for the EVO's.. esp 7 and 9's. (I don't like the dash/interior of the mitsu's though).

Dex,

Cheers for the boot install comments... was pretty tidy in the back of that thing.. space saver and all. Alas I fear the poor thing is probably half ripped apart now. I think I'd have to buy her back if I came across if for sale half fooked...
