thanks xr6eta

for those interested,
THE FRONT BAR:

is standard equipment, yet i cut straight through the original grill holes up and along (lets calll them nostrils...)
theyre parralel to the lower air duct.... so i completely cut it away,

i then used original plastic (from a doner spare) and plasticwelded some inner sides (after measuring size and shape...

bogged, highfilled and painted, and heres the result, much shiny teeth, with no jagged edges and standard looking

THE REAR BAR:

always wanted to do this....
i removed the bar, and the reo from the cover......took the plate and traced it +20mm either side..... cut the reo
then replaced the reo to the bar, traced cut out to the back of the bar
drilled 2 holes in the upper left and right corners
cut a straight line to both.....then one to the middle..... then did the same to the bottom.....

i then folded it inward..... i had to knock up some fright angle brackets to pop rivet the "flaps" of the plastic to stay in position, also screwed to the reo.....

i then shaved the original lamp holes much the same as the front bar..... then shaved the center garnish between the tailights,

painted both the bar and garnish

i think the E X A is a neat touch :)
