You sure the 588nm wasn't measured at the wheels?? A 6.0liter R8 would make above 200rwkw around 6000rpm so it must have more torque than even at peak power where torque has already dropped off.

ah, so you had to cut the sides of the front sub frame out to fit the cooler pipes through.

i was told that thats where most of the front structural integrity of the car is, tho it does look like minimal piping was used, which is definitely good for less lag, hrmm, looks bloody good tho.

can you PM me about how expensive those mags were?
and where you got them from. they look mad hot!

Heres some info on the last drags i went to (taken from other thread)

Went out to heathcote on the 27th-

Quickest Time:

60foot - 2.09
13.33@105.46mph

Quickest MPH:

60foot -2.05
13.43@116.9mph!!!

All day the car was doing 115mph+ in 30*C heat. Which is 12 second teritory.
The last run i did was the 13.33 but blew somthing off the line, and without realising, still did the run and was my fastest yet. You can see from the mph i backed off at the end after it was going all over the place. The gearbox casing is broken , pics of damage soon

Now ive got the hang of the slicks, and once i fix it back up. Calder is on the cards for some quicker times. It will be a bit cooler at night + calder is a little stickier i think.

There were a few people from the skyline club taking pics/videos so ill see if i can find some of my car.

Shane what gear are you in (4th i guess?) and rpm when you cross the line? With the low n13 diff ratio i'm seeing nearly 4000rpm at 100kmph. Which means if i was to ever trap at 200kmph it would need to rev to 8000rpm.

Niiice :D

Pull it out from under the covers, slap on a set of sticky slicks and hunt down an 11!

That dyno must be a little on the conservative side me thinks

Nice, I finally picked up the RB30T manifold from Syd a couple of weekends ago and am looking forward to boosting the 31 myself.
Keep us posted with the 35/40 results, I will have to convince my XRT mate to upgrade. :D

the xr6 turbo ones will be a tad laggy damo as they have the 1.06 rear housing, get one with the .86 rear :)

.63 = fail on rb30
.82 = good if your going to street it
1.06 = bit laggy but still doable (friend has one on his r31, i think he said it makes full boost around 4500, which is getting late for an rb30 anyway)
