Hey guys - Its been a while!

Post by N12Turbo »

Hi guys,

To all you guys that don't know me, I'm Dave that created this site about 10 years ago now... Has been around 6-7 years since I've no longer had my ET but I still do see a few getting around now and again. I often wonder where ETN12 is these days......

To the guys that still remember me, hows everything going? I see there are some new advances in the E15 world - we have a new factory inlet manifold that fits up I think I saw I 'Ryans ET' thread was it?

What else is new these days? I am still in contact with Dan from MRD so he always keeps me in the loop of its progress and lack thereof!

Great seeing some of you boys still getting around with the www.n12turbo.com stickers on the cars... They were made up a long time ago!

For me, I've been through a few nice cars since the ET, but now reside to a boring company car and a ute for the tie being. I'll be back in the performnace car scene again soon enough though.

Cheers,
Dave

Hey Dave. there isn't too much happening in the N12 scene at the moment. a few slooow projects but no real high points lately.
what are you thinking for your next performance car? I think your old ET needs your TLC if you can find it?

Hey, you didn't stick around for long once you fired this joint up... or did you post under another name as well?

Oh yeah, thanks for the site. It's been invaluable : D

Hello there Dave, thanks for creating the site. I suppose you also created the forums, which was a brilliant idea! This has turned out to be a surprisingly well-working community of N12 enthusiasts! Many forums would have come and gone due to people heating up threads to the point of serious battle between individuals... but not this one! And there's no better info & parts resource for the N12 than the n12turbo.com community as well as the n12turbo.com site itself! :D

Are you going to get another N12 some day in the (distant or close) future?

Dave was looking for someone and I jumped onboard towards the end of the yahoo days, 'end' being because i suggested swapping to a proper forum. Which Tarragon hosts and i developed. Everything needs a bit of an overhaul but because i dont own the hosting i cant really do a whole lot :P

Nice to see you poke your head in again Dave, theres only a few of the original guys left, not a whole lot has been happening either. Im seeing less and less ET's around, looks like they are getting a bit long in the tooth.. ohh that and FWD sucks

My car is still sitting dead from blowing the gearbox up from the last Heathcote pass where i layed down a 13 second run. I still have the ET although i have garaged it and moved onto bigger and better things...

Your not the only one he's talking about.

Hey Dave,
Its been a while since you been here. Not much has gone on.

Hopefully WHEN you come back we all should have our cars close to being on the road.  hopefully I will finally make a cruise one time soon.

Keep your eye on here still, I think there will be a few (you in particular Jan) very interesting rides on the rise!

Cheers,
Dexi
