hey jason, i've installed the remote central locking for the front doors, piece of cake! no metal needed to be cut either! ;)

i've run the wiring to the back passenger floor but haven't got around to fitting the motors and stuff yet...

all up, the remote module, immobilizer, and 2 front doors took me about 3 hours.

HID kit should arrive on monday so i'll fit that ASAP!

Spudley

quick update, just installed my 8000k HID Xenon kit :D

If anyone in Melbourne's eastern suburbs wants a kit installed, I can do the kit and the installation of H4 hi/lo HID for $190 installed.

here's some happy snaps!

Image
Standard H4 Halogen low beam.
*NOTE: this is a Phillips 'Blue Vision' globe, not standard yellow globe.

Image
Driver side ballast and controller all mounted behind the headlight/ bumper bar

Image
Passenger side ballast all mounted

Image
HID lights still warming up on low beam, standard halogen H7 on high beam. In reality, the H7 is so much more yellow than in the pic.

Image
HID low beams in full flight!

haha cheers ash!
can't wait to test them out tonight!

with your central locking, did you have to install an extra relay for the horn to beep when locking/ unlocking?
and likewise with the indicators?

cheers,
S.

my central locking kit is just the basic door locks and controller with no remote. i didn't bother getting a remote central locking kit because i have a remote start 2 way alarm to install (sometime within my lifetime lol) and will interface it with the alarm.
