Yeah the coilpacks get to much heat in them when the covers on

what did you do with the battery? a mate got defected for the hole cut on the cold side piping
I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense.

Twisted the battery sideways, extended both terminal wiring, If the hole was made very tidy (no sharp edges etc) I doubt your friend would of got done

Looks like you've got a nasty cut in the dashboard. The gauge installation looks good though, nice work!

sorry to be a nag, but its not very good for your battery to have it side ways, the cells slam against each other when braking and accellerating.

your battery will be okay, it just will shorten its life

he said on a previous comment he turned his battery sideways.

The crap they feed us at school is that if you install your battery lenght ways its suppose to shorten the life of the battery. i'v seen cars with factory set ups with the battery installed in this way. its probly jst one of those many automotive myths, i think there is something to it, but it applys more to drag racing

r33 batterys are mounted sideways aren't they?..same as mine except their in the boot behind the false wall

yeah just like the compressor surge will fuck your turbo myth. works in theory but no hard real world evidence.
