lol yeah. I was just outside starting up the car, and while I was standing outside of the car, I noticed how awesome the cars stock exhaust sounded, It has that nice note that other cars just cant get, I think thats pretty cool. Also, I booked my car in on Thursday to have the Fuel Pump replaced, the one I have now is leaking, so I bought a replacement, and they can fit it for me. Saves the trouble.

It's just my opinion, but 4x4's should have the same licencing regulations as motorcycles. If you want to drive one, you need to get a licence for it. Maybe do a 4x4 training course like you have to on a bike, or need to be a member of a 4x4 club.Kimmo wrote:Yeah, on the other hand, discretion is the better part of valour...
But as for peeps in 4WDs who want to pretend their truck is a car, fine... it's a 'car' I want behind me.
Jay
That may help, it would be much better to have that in place, although it would be a pain if you need a 4x4 just for towing or somthing, though it would help get rid of the morons who buy these just to run things like signs over, and jumping over curbs and what not. Though in the end, these people will bypass it through one of Vicroads, or any other traffic authorities many loopholes. Though in the end, most of these people wont have the money to buy petrol for these things, so we should see them die off in a couple of years, only those who need the car will use them.

lol here in new zealand they just changed the licensing for Diesel utes and van to commercial vehicals, was $280 a year now $600, lucky mine is petrol though
btw its not a 4x4 either, 4x4 height though
when I was boosting in my n12 good grief its a pain those 4x4's, cant hardly reverse out of parks. they truely are a annoying.

I agree Kimmo, at least if we do that we can filter out the idiots who just want to use it for destruction.
and I also agree to SGS, if licensing does go up for those types of cars, its should be a huge deterrent to though who want to use them for no good.

I fail to see how you can discriminate against people based on the kind of vehicle they prefer to drive.burkey567 wrote:That may help, it would be much better to have that in place, although it would be a pain if you need a 4x4 just for towing or somthing, though it would help get rid of the morons who buy these just to run things like signs over, and jumping over curbs and what not. Its my right to drive either a 2 cylinder Fiat 500 Bambino or a Cadillac deVille (2 tons + and over 5 meters in length) or anything in between including a motorcycle if i want to.
