you could measure the wire diameter and count the free coils to calculate the rate, or many places have spring measures thats a bit more accurate.
OR you could improvise a spring measurer get a bathroom scale and put it under a drill press, stand a ruler next to it pull down on the drill and see what the scale reads for each cm/inch/mitre of deflection. easiest with two people.

Why not measure the height to a point on the car inline with the front or back wheels, load the front or back with 100kgs of stuff, re-measure, divide by two............bingo! Spring rate.Callumgw wrote:you could measure the wire diameter and count the free coils to calculate the rate, or many places have spring measures thats a bit more accurate.

That's awesome dude!
I tell you, you don't need anymore as it doesn't take much to loose traction with these little beasts.
All I can say is I know when I punch mine it wants to slip traction in 1st, 2nd & sometimes 3rd.
Cheers,
Dexi

I am quite a fan of the orange look!
It's strangely familiar!
That interior is one of a kind.
The wheels look a bit like Alfa romeo GTV6 or 75 factory alloys.. But they are never that shiny!
Awesome.

Has your paint got mica chips through it too?
If you have a paint code, that would be awesome!
