Well after pretty time since my last post, I do some work to the engine's head (still unfinished) but I upgrade my radiator

Then last Saturday an aluminum radiator installed in my sunny, after the show to the Instalation, taps for making the bulb temperature of the fans (the radiator did not bring that space, I think it is very logical that but in order ), installation photos here

These bases are welded to the frame to lay the radiator there

Image

With separation motor bracket as 1.5 cm inferior to not stick

Image

Here already made and fixed hoses in the car

Image

I run the engine that evening and after the choke do your homework about 20 minutes after finally arrived at the operating temperature and turned on the fan, hard little time on and off, at least in the house never stopped over the 190 ° F

Image

On Sunday I take a test, I visited a friend's house from here will be around 20kms and never turn on the fans even once , back with more traffic works not returned to moving from the 190 ° F and the fan going on normally, no leaks successfully.

I am satisfied with the result, since before the temp. used to reach above 210 ° F and the fan never stopped working and the car suffered the consequences of excessive heat, driving up the temp normal day, as with the OEM radiator, I think the difference is that the low temperature flown when it enters the fan or drive without stopping for a moment, and again takes a while to upload

The downside is that the radiator and if you're not careful you can get burned hahahaha

Greetings, progress continues...

dual webers = fuck yeah!!!
I'm surprised they fit between the engine and the firewall eh! I guess it's a pretty stumpy manifold though.

Hey there! That is some nice port work on the head! Awesome!

Didn't know the E16 heads were of closed chamber design... looks interesting!

Id say those chambers have been welded.

Its a shame he has to use that head.
Its actually fundamentally a crap design for big horsepower and hes unloaded a lot of pesos to get that work done.

However, those guys over that way dont get the same head we all take for granted here. The 15m head is highly prized in the US and only available as a Nismo aftermarket racing part and now no longer available to them.

Over here, we throw them away........

I thought so too, until I saw this: http://www.machineworldny.com/asp/Cylin ... 944&type=A

Well... he has compensated for the shape with bigger valves.

The chamber its no welded, It comes from an E15 Earlier model sunny B11, I know the 15M head its better for performance, but I think the desing of the ports of the 31M head make better torque in low rpm's but poor in high, thats why I decide to port and polish, and make oversized valves, I try to make better the performance of this head in high rpms.

However, this side of the world the 15M head its rare, so I have no many options.

This head (31M P&P) combined with the stroke to 1.7 and the other pieces, I hope make a good result.

Cheers !!
