So anyways, I towed it out of the garage today and gave it a wash.
I am not a big fan of the wheels, but as mentioned they came on a parts donor and had brand new tyres that are still to roll on the road. Anyways, I figured that while I was washing the car I might as well give the wheels a good cleaning, and I reckon they came up looking heaps better:

what size are those new rims?

is it hard to fit 17s on? do you need spacers or rolling the guards?

Hey Rohan. Yep they're 17's. I thought I was going to have dramas fitting them on (actually I didn't think they were going to look any good either) but I already had spacers on the back and they went straight on.
Once the car is drivable I'll let you know if they scrub, but I put 110 kg's in the boot (me) and jumped and they didn't touch the guards which have been rolled.
But basically it was a bunch easier than I thought it would be.

can guards be rolled before an after market metallic paint job is applied, or will it need a respray after wards?

i will need to get my guards rolled then, and buy spacers from somewhere.
