Yar, I went back out to have another look in the morn to make sure it wasn't the lack of sleep that made me think the chromies looked good, and I thought someone had pinched my rear brakes.....

Hmmmm, I hated them with a passion.... but that's just me. I usually hate chromies too, but these ones seem to suit the car....
They are multifit, and yep, I'll be selling them (Pulsar-Man has 1st dibs, but I'm not sure he'll be needing them now) but not until after it's rego'd coz I'll need the 15's for a blue slip.

Found myself with an hour spare last night so I went out to the shed and thought about my battery relocation.
Ended up running some zero guage from the altenator through a spare grommet in the firewall, under the carpet in a channel in the floor, under the plastic trim beside the backseat, thru a space in the panel beside the backrest of the back seat, behind the trim panel in the boot and into the battery box. (which has a hose venting to atmo I am yet to perfect, it's up toward the right of the pic & looks shite)
I mounted a 200A ANL fuse on the lid that feeds into the battery.
I also mounted another ANL fuse (100A) that feeds a distribution block & volt meter that will run my audio gear and fridge.
Here's a pix:

Might start building kits for you guys so all you gotta do is stick the cable into the fuse, bolt the earth down and you're right to go. Wouldn't be cheap though....

So I found mysef with a bit of time to kill tonight so I decided I'd remake the Microtech loom as it's too short.
So I cut the injector plugs off an old loom of some sort I had coz they're in good nick, I'll be pulling some bits out of the stock loom that I'll need to retain like wipers etc, and dismantled the Microtech loom and wrote myself a colour code of whats what, although there's a couple I'm not sure of so I'll be searching the archives in here in the next few days.
What a mess:

Rough figure -
- $60 for Box
- $50 for fuse block
- $40 each for ANL Fuse holders
- Plus a little bit for little bits of cabling and stuff.
Plus labour......
let's say $250 for my setup, or $180 for the setup without the extra fuse and fuse block.
Maybe cheaper depending on my suppliers, sometimes I can get my gear cheaper, sometimes not.

Ready to bolt in, bolt the earth cable down and clamp the +V into the fuse holder.
