Altho the Nissan cranks are steel, I think they are cast.

I wonder why cranks aren't made out of steel generally?

I imagine it's not much harder to work or more expensive than plain iron...

hello from bulgaria again mates. long ago i'm not wrote here and i'm sorry about that.but i have not had progress with the car.but now i rented a small garage and also i taken a welding machine from friend. so soon i start to work on my N12.first of all i'll start bodywork and i'll collect a parts to assemble the engine. so they will be pics soon.but i'll do the work mostly nights and saturdays and sundays. :D

the car is in the garage now.and soon i hope to start working on it. it's not big garage but it's better then nothing.for now i'll rush to all things outside the car.and start welding because there are very welding work :D
