gee think I'm made of money huh?

Actually this mod isn't very expensive. $120 for a pair of calipers, $160 for slotted rotors (only 276mm, not quite 300!, but then the 15's should still go on!). The et brake lines fit the caliper. Machine down the diameter of the hub
and probably need longer wheel studs. Done! ohh I forgot the pads  but you get to choose anything from EVO1-4!!!!!!!! lots of choice.

My hope is to have a go at getting this down and written up in January.

Hehe, 90 dB at a distance of 30 meters or so? Even more than I thought!

This evo brakes mod sounds interesting C... perhaps you could make an article submission about it when you've started working on that, if you have the time? Are you going to fit bigger brakes only at the front?
photoglossy wrote:Oh, and now my standard dump pipe doesn't fit back on... think the threads in the exhaust housing are a bit had it... so its hanging on by 2 bolts at the moment, and leaking like... um...like big leaking object!
Like a ship that leaks from the top (Steve Jobs quote)?

Now ill just have to wait and see if they are the newer three piece version, or the older welded type. Hope they are 3 piece, but somehow i dont think so.

Picked up a new radiator today!

The core is about identical to the stock turbo one, but it has tanks at the top and the bottom! needless to say, this makes it a bit narrower. just enough to fit my cooler piping through :)

Also, i bent my front bumper today and dented a guard... I was trying to back out of my driveway and the front bumper hooked on a post and pulled it forward. ouch... oh well... it'll hammer back in :)
