That's what I call roof cam!

Bad luck in that one curve with massive understeer but you managed to keep the car on the track, well done m8!

Great sound from the pulsar, probably the loudest car of your gang! :D

Haha that corner wasnt the best was it?! The track was pretty hard on brakes, and i braked a bit late and so went wide on the corner lol

The Honda was the loudest. It was running open headers. He was made to put on the rest of its exhaust minus the muffler to meet noise restrictions :P

2 more!

Yeah, that's exactly what it looked like. :P

Hehe, yeah that'd be just a bit noisy. I guess I missed on that one.

Yeah so true.
Which reminds me, my brother was once pulled over by the cops because his car was loud. He was running a cannon muffler and a stock front muffler in his CA20S 1990 T12 (and a conical air filter). Turns out he had a bit over 90 dB in the exhaust and when it misfired (due to over-rich mixture), the cops' dB meter spiked out at 95 dB! Luckily, he only got a warning and ordered to get the exhaust rebuilt to make it more silent (dB limit for a car newer than 1990 in Finland: 82! 1989 cars and older are allowed to output 90 dB!). And he was just on his way home from the annual "MOT": the car had passed everything, even the exhaust gas test. And no remarks about the exhaust sound level. How annoying!

I wouldn't want to know what dB your car outputs with just the dump pipe.

Think they were about 90db (the limit on the day) at the sensor at the back of the track on the boundary.

Yea i had a ball! No damage except from a couple of bald tyres :P Oh, and now my standard dump pipe doesn't fit back on... think the threads in the exhaust housing are a bit had it... so its hanging on by 2 bolts at the moment, and leaking like... um...like big leaking object!

Noone crashed or even touched eachother, we were very fortunate to have all cars get down there and back without to much drama.

The brakes could be better... alot better... was finding i needed to brake at about the 80m mark to slow down in time for the corner. No good at all! Think a big brake upgrade may be on the cards in the future when money permits...

Exxxcellent.

Yes. You really notice the brakes on a race track. They don't inspire confidence. And it looked like they didn't get much time to cool down either. Sandown, Calder and even phillip island over here, have opportunity/time for the brakes to cool before the next big stomp.

If money's an issue, - Lets face it. It always is - Callum is about to do what I consider is the best brake upgrade. Dual pot mitsu calipers with ~300mm diameter rotors, that'll stop ya!! I am using the single pot version thereof with great success.

Keep in mind with these super-DOOPER Evo calipers and skyline calipers, that not only are they expensive to get, but the pads are astronomical. Pads are consumables, and the mate that I race with in his EVO9 just spent $350 on Pads.

I've worn out 2 sets of Repco "silverlines" this year at $30 bux a set.

consider that cost when you choose a combo.

send him a PM

:)
