nah, i had a snouted compressor housing T25G and it wasn't a BB. i think these BB T25G's are pretty hard to find?

Yeah got that right. I brought a memcal for my old holden off there, it stuffed my engine due to fuel mixture being way too lean.

AFAIK, The mid frame 'T3' flange Nissan BB cores have a 10mm bolt which hold the bearing race separater in place, and because of the bearing race, CHRA assembly is far fatter than non BB. This is the easy way to tell the diff between BB and non BB.
Compare the centre of the supposed BB to a non BB.

in fact i'm sure i'm wrong there after thinking about it. was thinking about something else i think?

the easy way to tell coming from the GCG mob for Garrett turbo's is how many bolts are holding the turbine housing too the core. apparently no BB's have 4 bolts. 5-6 bolts for the BB's.

Wow, been ages since I logged in last. Unfortunately this pulsar is long gone, had to move and required downsizing in cars.

I have however bought a low k's E15ET engine and possibly got hold on a Nissan pulsar that has been made into a convertible.

Engine will be getting some attention after I have finished off my current project, 82 HR30 skyline coupe, did have a L20ET but now been converted to L28ET:
