man i love the look of the full stickered up Series 2 exas!
looks awesome dude!!

to put your pics up, edit your post, one by one, select the url you have pasted in and click the 'IMG' button above where you write.

either that, put [IMG] and [ /IMG] either side (but remove the space in the second tag before the '/')

Hope that helps.

Good on ya guys, I'm just about to buy an unreg Exa for parts that is exactly the same as yours. Reasonable nick all over but had turbo taken off and standard manifold put on. If you think of anything you need, let me know. Postage might kill but prices very good. Good luck with the tidy up.

sill rust is very common as is rust in the bottom section of the A pillars and in the roof at the top corners near the windscreen and rear corners in the rail gutters.

also remove the trim inside the boot and check on the wheel tubs behind where the shock sits, there is a guard there and rust loves to start there.

well today was perfect nothing could have gone any better day 3 head is off for those following the topic had a massive win i 2 directions today first if all the snapped head bolt was sitting proud of the block and with my magic plier device (not vice grips) wound out buy hand head gasket and bolts arrived also the pistons are .050 thou over and of a deep dish design I know factory are dished but these are deep my PD blown stroker has a sub 32cc Dish billet unit so at a guess these pistons would be around a sub 18-20 dish the previous owner was too drunk for comment

You guys are getting stuck in, what's your background (are you doing all work yourselves). Great job with the way you're running your thread, keep it up. Perhaps just persevere with loading the pics into here so we can scroll between each pic. Very interested in following build.

it was hard too see the extent of the damage for the decals the wheel arch was actually pushed in further than the body pannel it tried as best to pull the steel at least back to original position but agreed it is unatractive got the head cheacked and cleaned all surfaces ready to re install
