Far out... this is going to be the best-looking Prairie on the planet (not that that's a big ask).

Awesome trike, dude. I'm mighty impressed at the originality of its form.

coming along

Just got the rear spoiler to fit properly today, should have it in primer in a few days.

Did a quick photoshop of the prairie, with just the basic mods, front / back spoilers, lowered and colour coded, tints.

With the scoop and pumped guards should look heaps meaner (for a prairie)

Not really, I'm a bit over the body customisation for now, just want it painted so I can start work on the motor.
But you never know, if I come across some?

While I am here, if any one can help, When I got it, it had a small accident on the front passenger side. Now I am looking for a FRONT PASSENGER SIDE CLEAR BLINKER.
So if anyone sees a prairie being wrecked, can you let us know where.
Thanks

Sanding, sanding, and frigging more sanding 180, then 320 then 600, will it ever end.
Well soon, front is done, passenger side is done and under primer, and only the driver side door to go.
Thank God for these holidays, it should be ready for painting by the end of the year (If it does not start raining)
Anyway soon.

UP Date.
3 months later and the cars is with the panel beater for the worlds slowest paint job,
To explain, he is a mate, 2 years ago he was going to paint it, but he kept on putting off the job (for over 10 months) this was making problems with my parents (where it is stored),
after a large fight I said FU and started doing it myself... on the grass... in the back yard.

Anyway 12 month later I run into him and he apologises with some excuse about having personal problems and he was taking it out on me, anyway he asks me if he can do the paint job to make up for before. so as I only have a grassy backyard and he has a workshop, I said yes, Well 3 month and I have worked on 12 of his cars doing some mechanical work (which he is hopeless with) the car has just got a new coat of primer, yep, 3 months for a coat of primer. now I guess you would think beggars should not be choosers, but I am paying for the job (about $1000 minus x amount for the jobs I am dong for him) I am supplying the materials, and I am helping prep the prairie.
Hold on Hold on. Thats right, the prairie was in primer and rubbed back before I took it to the workshop,
He re primed it so he could look like he is doing work on it.

Friends... they just FU around.

BUT let me say

ET's Are awesome, and are bullet proof

The donor ET has been sitting in my backyard for over 5 years, unstarted.
and as I am just waiting for the paint job I figured it was time to see how bad it was.

When I got it, it had lots of dodgy problems, and thanks to a really dodgy AFM Relocation the ET would not idle, I was also told that the T28 was blown.
So 5 years latter how bad would it be, the fuel was at lest that old, and who knows how much more.
But lets give it a go, with only a fully charged battery I gave it a few quick kicks to free up the motor and to move the oil around,
Then I taped up the log to stop air getting in, and then...... nothing.
OK tighten the battery up.
OK give it another go.... You can smell the old fuel, but a few minuets later. bang.... POP.... RUN,
Yep she started and idled. I am very pleased.

IT'S RUNNING :-) LOL

Next I'll service her, add a cold start form a VL and change the turbo to a Reco T25 I have.

I bet I'll have it all done before the paint is laid on the prairie.

[quote="Valentich"Friends... they just FU around.[/quote]

I hear ya, My brother took 13 months to rebuid my car with a mate and the so called mate didnt invite me to his wedding cos I wasnt nice. But i think if i send down the money and not speak to him at all HE has no right to be angry with me, but hey! fk it cos I now have my car, not have to worry bout him n my bro finally got over it woth my tearing my bros ear out.

But at least your friend is talking to you, mine still 3 years later still doesnt, a long with another for weird reasons not involving my car.

I have always said.... "you know who your friends are when you drift away" well its been changed since i left school as it use to be "you know your friends when you leave school" same shit!

On Topic

The kit looks good.

Cheers,
Dex
