Update

Love being able to work on the easy stuff.
so I am playing around with the interior trimming as a rest before I start on the final run to the end (Last bit of painting the flares and external stuff soon)
There is lots to do in the interior including making an completely new roof lining out of fibreglass, re-trimming the seats and of cause, a wood/fibre glass doof doof box.
The audio/visual will have 2 or 3 monitors (1 inset in the roof) so when you are lying down (Prairie seats fold into a bed) you get a good view, and all controls by a laptop

Image
It stared off as a 2007 camry roof lining (came with the sunroof)
but the build quality was a joke, soft foam that dents with the slightest touch,
I had to give it a layer of glass before I could start cutting and shutting it

Before

Prairies dont have the most stylish of interiors, then again its an 80's car.
But I hope to give it a more modern clean up.

Dash In, still needs some adjustments, but until I build the centre console it can just sit in place.

The colour-coded bars look better.

IMO so does this:

Grille in silver (to blend with the lights) would look good too.

Anything that makes it look tidier should work.

And remember, it'll always be recognisable by the door handles ; )

Are you gonna put some big wheels on?

Thanks zoomzoom "Not so ugly" is what I am aiming for, hold on, isn't Master from cars a rusty old pick up, are you trying to say something  ,
Trust me, I cut fist fulls of rust out of here. No, I get what you mean, character, different, Not so ugly LOL

Thanks ash, Means a lot from you, your beasts are so well done

Thanks Kimmo, I was wondering what to do with the grill, if I should do it white, but I thought that that will be too much,
and black too dark, I think I'll give silver a try, see how it looks,
I like the look of the factory wheels, but there just not big enough,
plus, the donor ET had newish Pedder shocks and lowed springs I put in, as the prairie has massive amounts of space between wheel and arch,
but this backfired, because it is so low, it wont pass a blue slip. The lowest point is 8cm,
so I am planning to put 16" with 205 on it, this will fill the gap mad, and lift the car about 3 cm, problem fixed, I hope

Yeah, cool. What aspect ratio are you thinking of for those?

What do you think about my tidy-up of your side glass?

Be pretty easy to do, you'd just need something to slap on the top of each back window I guess.

also i rekon, if you could be arsed, offset the headlight mounting holes to raise them a few mm, and put the garnish form na n12 under the lights and grille, just to close that gap a lil

with the jet speed bar it still has the gaps they not quit wide enough and no where for the mount in the middle cause of fmic but was thinking r31 skyline bar being that they wider and beaval back into the lights in stead of just being straight across

No Val not saying anything about the rust [shit still gotta get more out of my pig] just look t the front of it and forget that it a car for a min and tell me you don't see face,or is it just the green feed again

Yeh, the light are just sitting in place and some of the trim around the lights is not on yet. It all has to get a once over alignment, including the bonnet.
the Original bumper has a bump in it along the grill, that's, why there is such a gap between the grill. I like that grill so I am hoping to keep it, so I'm thinking of somehow filling the gap up, maybe a knight rider led light, just joking

Has anyone noticed the lancer mirrors, they remind me of Shrek, To keep it "Legal", I have to have repeater, so I got some cheap ebay mirror blinkers, I've put the blink on the passenger side, but cant bloody find the other, DRATS
